Support reserved for cats and dogs in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district.
About
We believe that pets can provide emotional support to their owners and contribute significantly to the well-being of local residents.
Summary
A little helping paw does everything in its power to visually document the cases we take in so donors can see the animals they have supported.
We only help individuals who need financial support for their animal. Unfortunately, we cannot include animals without families or in shelters among our beneficiaries because this is not part our mission.
Our objective is to contribute to the good health of animals in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, while reducing abandons and euthanasia for budgetary reasons.
Functioning
It is important that we have access to recent medical records (which can be sent to us by another veterinary clinic) to decide whether we are able to support the animal. It is not in our budget to investigate medical conditions of animals; we are here to provide a solution to their condition.
Without proof of residence in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district and income, the application will be automatically refused. Families who need our help must provide the requested documentation so that their file can be evaluated by our committee within a reasonable period. To find out how to submit a request, click here.
We would like to emphasize that this initiative is made possible thanks to the generosity of local citizens, donors, and our suppliers who are particularly sensitive to our cause.
OUR OBJECTIVE
We want to relieve suffering and care for these animals while educating the local community about animal welfare.
We also want to improve the overall quality of life for pets in our neighborhood.
